Anyone remotely interested in, or practicing in the genre of Street Photography, would be familiar with the legendary Joel Meyerowitz and his most brilliant photography.
Joel Meyerowitz is & has been not only a Street Photographer but also a portrait and Landscape Photographer. He began photographing in colour in 1962 and was an early advocate of the use of colour during a time when there was significant resistance to the idea of colour photography as serious art.
His work is in the collections of the International Centre Of Photography, Museum Of Modern Art, and New York Public Library, all in New York City, and the Museum Of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.
