I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 17, 1979. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time drawing with a box of colored pencils over blank papers. After completing high school I started to study architecture in the university, and with the third year approved I realized that graphic design was more suited to my restless and observant personality. In 2007 I graduated as a graphic designer at the UTU School of Social Communication. I won prizes and mentions in contests of logos and posters, many of them related to social issues, and in parallel I began to carry out assignments of visual communication. The graphic design is directly linked to the postproduction of photos, and it was precisely through this technique that my interest in photography began to develope. At the end of 2010 I bought my first reflex camera, and from there I didn't stop taking photos and trying to improve in this art. I find in photography a form of expression and communication of gestures, situations, emotions, something timeless that is common to all of us. I feel specially attracted to street photography, in which I believe there are always singular and spontaneous moments that can be photographed. I am currently working as a freelance graphic designer and photographer. I am also passionate about cinema, music, nature and animals.
